Elia Barceló

Elia Barceló (1957) is a Spanish academic and author. Born in Elda, in the Alicante province, Barceló earned her doctorate in Innsbruck in 1995. She is now a Professor of Spanish literature in Austria. She is a multiple award-winning author of science fiction novels and works for children, and has been cited as the most important female SF author writing in Spanish.
