N. J. Ramsden

Nathan ‘NJ’ Ramsden writes mostly short fiction, though he has become increasingly interested in translating medieval poetry. Influences include Donald Barthelme, Philip K Dick, H P Lovecraft, J L Borges, Angela Carter, classical mythology, and folktale.
He has published one novel (Nothing's Oblong), and has several short stories in print and online. He taught Creative Writing for several years. In his spare time he enjoys baking, learning Icelandic, and making music with synthesizers he builds himself.
