Andrew Bannister grew up in Cornwall and worked in the North Sea oil industry before changing direction to specialise in sustainable construction. He lives in a converted school in Newark, which is nearly big enough to house his record collection.
Andrew started writing at university. His work under various names has ranged from technical journalism to genre fiction. His SF Spin Trilogy received global publication in 2016, taking him to science fiction conventions and events everywhere from Huddersfield to Hong Kong.
When not writing (and sometimes when he is) Andrew likes red wine and pasta and things. He owns a very old bicycle and is adept at killing houseplants.
