M.R. Carey has written extensively in the fantasy, horror and sci-fi genres, both in prose and in graphic formats. His novels include The Girl With All the Gifts, the Rampart trilogy and the Pandominion series. In comics he is best known for long and critically acclaimed runs on titles such as Lucifer, Hellblazer and X-Men Legacy. He’s dipped his toe in other kinds of writing too, and received a Best Newcomer award from the British Screenwriters’ Festival in 2017, at the age of 58.
